Getting To Galiano: Logistics

We look forward to meeting new groups coming over for the first time and welcome back all of those who are returning to take part again in our memorable and transformational programs!

Getting to Galiano Island

map

Galiano Island is located midway between Vancouver and Victoria in the beautiful Strait of Georgia. It is part of the Southern Gulf Islands and has a population of approximately 1000 people.

As such, it is the perfect location for outdoor, environmental education. Galiano Island is easily accessible by ferry from Tsawwassen terminal on the mainland or from Swartz Bay terminal on Vancouver Island.

For ferry times and reservations call BC Ferries toll free at 1-888-223-3779 or in Victoria at (250) 386-3431.

We encourage you to apply for a Travel Bursary if the costs of transportation are prohibitive for your group.

Transportation on Galiano

Need a ride? Don’t worry! We will take care of the transportation arrangements on Galiano. We will meet you at the ferry, transport the group to the program site and take you back to the ferry at the end of the day. (Max 54 children or 36 adults).
