This is a magical hike from the Learning Centre along high, dry coastal ridges, through lush green Douglas fir forests, to our amazing Great Beaver Swamp. Through games and activities, we’ll note an ever-changing array of plants and animals, and how factors such as soil, slope, moisture and exposure impact species location. By the end, we’ll have had hands-on knowledge at how a diversity of landscapes brings a diversity of life.
