Solar system up and functioning at the classroom building

We have installed 18 panels on the roof of the classroom building, and they are working great. The first field program to use them will be on July 3-11, when 19 UVic Environmental Studies students will join professor Dr. Eric Higgs for the Restoration and Sustainability field course based at the Learning Centre. Students will be living, eating and learning on site. Learn more about the process of designing and implementing the solar panel system in the update report here.

The building the morning of the 2015 AGM – a momentus occasion to have the first AGM hosted on Learning Centre land in the new building!
