Beth grew up at the northern end of Vancouver Island, on the traditional and unceded territories of the Ligwiłda’xw people, specifically the We Wai Kai, Wei Wai Kum, and Kwiakah First Nations. She recently completed a BSc in Geography and Environmental Studies at the University of Victoria. She’s always had a passion for the environment, with interests focused on habitat restoration and species conservation ecology. In her free time, Beth enjoys going amateur birding, exploring tide pools, nature photography and cooking. She’s very much looking forward to her time working as an intern for the GCA.
