The Conservancy strives to maintain salary levels that are appropriate within the land trust movement, subject to available funding. We also offer a shared-cost (50/50) extended health benefits plan.

The expansive Millard Learning Centre is an ideal base of operations for staff, with ever-improving facilities and an extensive trail network and beach access, where we can clear our head when we need it. It is also an environment where we are mindful of wasted energy and resources, which feels really good, at the end of the day!

Each year, we hire for several 16-week positions starting in May. These job opportunities are typically posted in January.
The Galiano Conservancy Association accepts applicants into our volunteer internship program year round. Interns have the opportunity to work with all facets of the organization over the course of their placement.
