Marina joined the Galiano Conservancy mid-June as an Outreach and Conservation Assistant. Spending her summers on Gossip Island, she has developed a deep appreciation for the unique ecosystem and communities of the Southern Gulf Islands. Marina recently graduated from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Writing and is passionate about connecting people with a sense of place through education, storytelling, and community engagement. She is excited to support the  Conservancy’s conservation initiatives and outreach programs, helping to foster meaningful relationships between people and place.
