The Millard Learning Centre (MLC) is the centerpiece of the Galiano Conservancy’s network of conservation lands, a living landscape where we practice participatory, restorative, and regenerative relationships with the natural world. The MLC features proven green technology and infrastructure that is a model for sustainable community living within the natural environment.
The Galiano Conservancy Association was founded in 1989 as one of British Columbia’s first community-based land trusts. Now it is one of the most successful, with island-wide accomplishments.
Hit the trail and enjoy Galiano at its best, by exploring our extensive trail network, which meanders through the Mid-Island Protected Areas Network.
