Galiano Island is located midway between Vancouver and Victoria in the beautiful Salish Sea. It is part of the Southern Gulf Islands and has a population of approximately 1000 people.
As such, it is the perfect location for outdoor, environmental education. Galiano Island (Sturdies Bay ferry terminal) is easily accessible by ferry from Tsawwassen terminal on the mainland or from Swartz Bay terminal on Vancouver Island.

For large groups (up to 36 adults), the Galiano Conservancy can provide bus transportation for a fee.
Need a ride? No problem, rent our bus! Our bus has a capacity of 54 children (3 per seat) or 54 adults/teenagers (2 per seat). We’ll meet you at the ferry terminal, transport you to the program site and take you back to the ferry at the end of the day.
